Vagamente baseado na série "Sherlock Holmes" de Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Hound transforma todos os personagens clássicos em cães. O canino Sherlock Holmes, sua assistente Watson, e a empregada doméstica Sra. Hudson trabalham juntos para resolver mistérios. O culpado é geralmente o Professor Moriarty e sua gangue, que usam todos os tipos de engenhocas malucas para roubar o que querem.
